Healthy Choc Snack Bars

When we have healthy and tasty snacks at the ready it makes eating nutritious food easy right? 

The trouble is, these snacks need to be simple and easy to make as well as tick all of the nutritional boxes. Otherwise, we just won't make them and therefore eat them. We'll end up reaching for something much less healthy. 

That's why you are going to love these Healthy Choc Snack Bars that deliver on taste, nutritional value and convenience.


Here's What You'll Need: 

2 cup Puffed Brown Rice  

1/2 cup Pepitas 

1/2 cup Crushed Almonds

1/4 cup Cacao Nibs 

1 cup Coconut Oil

4 tbsp Rice Malt Syrup

3 tbsp Cacao Powder

Pinch of Salt

Creating The Magic:

In a large mixing bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients together (puffed brown rice, pepitas, crushed almonds and cacao nibs).

Melt the coconut oil until there are no lump and then add in the rice malt syrup, cacao powder and pinch of salt. Stir until well combined.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients in the large mixing bowl and ensure everything is well combined.

Pour the mixture into a 20 x 20cm lined baking tray and place in the fridge to set for 45-60 minutes. 

Cut into bars and enjoy!
