Holy smokes – if you are a chocolate and peanut butter lover like me then prepare to have your world rocked!
This vegan and dairy free slice is really heaven on earth.
This recipe is so simple with only 5 ingredients and is perfect as an afternoon snack or lunchbox filler!
- 3 cups organic oats
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon rice malt syrup
- 1/4 cup rice malt syrup
- 1/4 cup raw organic cacao powder
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
Blend oats, peanut butter, coconut oil and rice malt syrup in a food processor until ingredients become a sticky, well combined mixture.
Pack down base mixture into a 20 x 20cm baking tray and freeze for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes or until base mixture has become solid, next, fill a small saucepan with water and place on stove over low heat. Place a glass or ceramic bowl on top of the saucepan. Add rice malt syrup, coconut oil and cacao powder to melt and combine. Next, pour chocolate mixture over base layer and freeze again for another 20 minutes.
